We are all different and it is no difference when organizing a wedding, but i always like to get things out the way so i can get on prepare for the next challenge. So getting key parts of the checklist out of the way, is a massive relief.
Sending out save the dates is definitely a key part of planning a wedding, letting everyone you want to come to your day know when it is and when to book off is a massive weight of your shoulders.
So when should you send out save the dates?
Well there is no specific time, but for me letting everyone know when to book off, is best done as early as possible. I would suggest doing this 18 to 24 months before the actual wedding date.
Its always good to let people know as soon as possible. Just so that your guests don’t go and book their annual holiday on the same date and then have to let you know they cannot make it.
Then there are the few guests that don’t work sociable hours like you may, they may normally have to work weekends. So letting them know well in advance, will mean they can book it off and attend your day.
